Therapy for the one who appears to have it all together on the outside, but is silently struggling on the inside
VIRTUAL THERAPY FOR ANXIETY, STRESS, LIFE TRANSITIONS, AND TRAUMA
for adults throughout New York and South Carolina
On the surface you seem to be managing life okay, but underneath there’s an emotional struggle that’s becoming more difficult to ignore.
Maybe you're the one everyone depends on, whether at work, in your family, or in your relationships, and you're exhausted by the pressure to keep it all together. You might struggle with anxiety, perfectionism, people-pleasing, or a harsh inner critic that tells you you’re not enough.
Hi, I’m Angela
I work with men and women who carry the weight of past harmful experiences or current stressors. They are often caregivers, high achievers, or the “strong ones” in their families and communities. They’re the ones others look to for support, yet struggle to offer themselves the same care and compassion. Many have learned to view vulnerability as weakness and find it difficult to ask for help. If you find yourself people-pleasing, overwhelmed, anxious, or unsure of who you are outside of your responsibilities, I want you to know you don’t have to keep pushing through on your own. I help clients set boundaries, explore core beliefs, address symptoms of burnout, and reconnect with their authentic needs and desires to help create healthier and more balanced relationships with themselves and others. My role is to walk alongside you through what feels heavy, offering tools and support so you no longer have to carry it all alone..

If you’re struggling with anxiety, it can feel like you’re always on edge, constantly anticipating the worst, or living in a state of heightened alertness. You may feel trapped by negative thought patterns, physical symptoms, or the constant worry about what might happen next.

Life is full of changes, some we plan for and others we never saw coming. Whether you’re stepping into adulthood, adjusting to a new role as a caregiver, or navigating shifting relationships and priorities, change can stir up questions about who you are and where you belong.
It’s common to feel anxious, unsettled, or unsure. You might wonder if you’re doing enough, if you’re in the right place, or if you’re losing parts of yourself along the way.
You’re not alone, and you don’t have to figure it out by yourself.

You’ve been pushing through for so long, trying to hold it all together at work, in your relationships, and for your family. You’re exhausted. Your mind is constantly racing. Your body feels tense, and no amount of rest seems to help.

Past relationships, whether with family members, partners, or friends, can leave lasting scars that impact how you view yourself and others. If you’ve experienced emotional, physical, or psychological harm in these relationships, it often be difficult to trust, love, or connect with others in a healthy way.

Starting therapy isn’t always easy, especially if you’re the person everyone relies on. But the truth is, taking care of yourself isn’t a luxury, it’s a necessity. If you’re running on empty, it becomes harder to be present for the people and responsibilities that matter most. Whether you're navigating anxiety, stress, a major life change, or working through past experiences, therapy can provide the support and tools to help you manage and move forward.
